From styling and furniture to signage, florals, lighting, DJs, and more, we own and curate the elements that make your event extraordinary. The Workshop was created by Mike, Sharon and Lisa, whose shared passion for design, detail, and meaningful moments sparked the vision for a modern and eco-friendly approach to ‘I do’. With backgrounds in creative industries and a deep understanding of what it takes to bring an unforgettable day to life, they’ve built a team of like-minded talent stylists, makers, and designers, each bringing their own unique skillset. Together, this creative collective works seamlessly to craft weddings that are not only beautiful but deeply personal and effortlessly executed.
Mike — Co-Creator, DJ & Technical Creative
Mike is the creative force behind the scenes our go-to guy for everything technical, atmospheric, and uniquely made. With a background in sound and a lifelong love of music, he brings the party to life as a seasoned DJ. But his talents go far beyond the decks. From crafting custom installations in his workshop to designing the lighting and soundscapes that define the mood of the day, Mike is the one who makes ideas from concept to creation. Many of our creations are made from charity shop finds and reclaimed wood from Acorn Enterprises.
A true maker at heart, his skills span woodworking, AV design, and all the behind-the-scenes magic. If it glows, moves, or creates a wow moment, it probably has Mike’s fingerprints on it. He’s the quiet genius turning love stories into unforgettable experiences.
Sharon — Co-Creator, Creative Director & Styling Lead
Sharon is, quite simply, the creative genius behind The Workshop. With an innate eye for design and years of hands-on experience, she is the mind behind every beautifully styled space we create with you. Her journey began in floristry, where her love for colour, texture, and natural beauty first took root. Over time, that passion bloomed into full-scale event styling, layering in décor, detail, and mood to help shape weddings that feel as good as they look. Her superpower is helping you bring your vision to life.
Sharon doesn’t just help style events she helps tells stories is with you every step of the way. Her approach is instinctive, refined, and always tailored to the couple at the heart of it. From intimate tablescapes to dramatic ceremony settings, every visual moment begins with your vision.
Lisa — Creative Designer & Outdoor Design Specialist
Lisa brings fresh perspective and artistic flair to every event she touches. With a background in Art and Design, her creativity is second nature evident in the way she approaches every detail with originality and care. She has a special talent for transforming outdoor spaces into unforgettable wedding settings, effortlessly blending nature with style to create atmospheres that feel both relaxed and refined. She has a knack for choosing items from our collections to help you create your vision.
